Picture shows landing gear placement. Two steel wires are tied up crosswise to the 4 longerons for maximum strength. The upper portion of the wires hae bents to align with the upper longerons. The above is for a tail dragger. For a trike landing gear, its the same set up but farther aft for the main gear. For the front gear,it will be a similar set up with one wire but bent at the bottom to the center of the fuse. The front wheel do not have to be steerable. The Hi Max and the Spit however will be tail draggers.
